A City Wide Celebration of Coffee | Seattle TravelGram

Drink Like a Local- Discover Seattle through its Coffee

Starting November 4, you can explore cafes throughout the city, participate in games and events and win big prizes on the neighborhood Coffee Crawl, gearing up for the 2012 Northwest Coffee Festival.?

The Northwest Coffee Festival presents two-days of delicious decadence as coffee lovers discover and explore the world of coffee, artisan food, desserts and holiday gifts at the Seattle Design Center in the Georgetown neighborhood. The festival features manual brew bars, espresso bars, local gift and craft artisans, official sponsors booths, home brewing coffee education center, multimedia presentations, savory food, dessert and live music.

The festival is also presenting the second annual Seattle Coffee Crawl. It?s a fun way to explore the neighborhoods throughout the city of Seattle based on coffee shops.? The Seattle Coffee Crawl will launch November 3rd, at cafes across the city. Participate in games, coffee trivia and word scrambles to taste some of the exceptional coffees of Seattle and win great prizes including gift cards, tickets to the festival, home espresso machines and even a Dutch Bike!

This is a FREE coffee adventure that allows coffee enthusiasts the rare opportunity to venture through a new neighborhood each day sampling the best of what participating partners have to offer. You?ll be able to delight your palette, not only with goodies and lattes, but with special pairings and one-on-one demos too. Exact locations and games have been kept hushed, but the full schedule will most likely be out in the next 24 hours.?

One hint they would give us:? Cafe Umbria in Pioneer Square will be pouring espresso over scoops of FREE gelato if you ask for it Monday through Wednesday Nov. 5-7.

Find NW Coffee Festival on Facebook and Twitter for clues and information in the following days.? Lots of ways to play and win, good luck!
